So about that...

When I said I would post more, I was clearly mistaken and under the influence of drugs or something. I wish I was a dedicated blogger to keep those of my friends who don't use Facebook updated, but I'm just not. For that I apologize.

Anywho...We are still trying to expand our family. We (who am I kidding)...I have been taking fertility medicine for 2 months now to no avail. That is how we conceived our little boy and I am hoping that it will help us again. I really just want to be pregnant and then done for now. It is all in God's time though, so I will accept whatever he gives me.

Dylan graduated a few months ago and has been taking a (ahem!) break for several months. I'm about ready to kick him into high gear so he'll put that degree that I (ahem! excuse me, I seem to have a cough) I mean that he worked so hard for to good use. The money would be nice too. Hopefully he can pass his paramedic test and make even more money. Then he wants to go BACK to school. Really, I mean, really? I haven't suffered enough? I want him to do what he wants to do.

Mr. T is moving about and getting into E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G!!!!! There is nothing safe in our home from the hands of a 2 year old.

We had to get rid of Dixie. She was just too much and we were going to have to pay $150 for her to live with us in our new apartment. Maggie was distraught as I'm sure you can imagine. Yeah, not really.

Well, I hope I can get better at this...peace out homies!

Efforts

I am by no means a blogger. I have put like half a dozen posts on my blog since it began and that was like 2 years ago. I would like to update it more often and so that is my new goal. To blog more.

On that note:

I am still doing physical therapy for my shoulder and boy is it painful! I've decided I will consider myself a successful graduate of PT when I can put my hair in a ponytail. That would have been useful today since the wind is blowing bad. Alas, I could not.

T finally started walking about 2 and a half weeks ago. He still crawls when he falls but if we pick him back up he will walk. He's still not really very steady but they aren't called toddlers for no good reason. That what they do, they "toddle" . He is so cute. He was Mickey Mouse for Halloween and he was the cutest Mickey Mouse I have ever seen. I can't wait until he is older and can help come up with costumes himself.

We have a new puppy. Her name is Dixie Cruella Hickmott. She is a black and white Morkie . That's where the Cruella comes from. She is finally adjusting to her kennel. Many a nights I thought about taking her back because she didn't like her kennel but now it is much easier. We had to shave her not long after we got her because she came from a puppy mill, our first mistake, and I'm certain she was not groomed regularly if at all. So in order to tame dry skin and possible fleas, we shaved her. Her hair is finally starting to grow back and she is getting much cuter than before.

Well, more to come tomorrow or soon. Peace!

Been Awhile

It's been a little while since I posted anything. I use Facebook the most so I forget about blogging. Anywho...Mr. T is almost 1! I know, it's crazy. He's doing great. He has 2 teeth, both on the bottom. Papa Dan (Dylan's dad) says that when he gets one on the top and one on the bottom he can go to Texas Roadhouse for a steak. As far as I can tell, there aren't any even close on the top.

He's Here!

We waited and we waited and we waited some more. After 15 hours of labor and then a C-section, Mr. T finally arrived on May 26, 2009 at 8:58 pm. He tipped the scales at 9lb 7oz and was 22 inches long. I like to call him my baby chunk because he's so big. We are so excited for him to be here and love all the new things about him. He changes a little every day and it's great.

All baby

We went to the sonogram doctor this week and found out that our little bundle of joy that still has 7 weeks until he comes out weighs 4lb 9oz. HOLY COW! The doctor is sure that he is only going to weigh 8 lbs or so, but nobody I know believes that. I was already convinced that he already weighed at least 15 lbs, but I was wrong ;) .

The top picture is his heartbeat which continues to be strong.

Middle: Supposedly his foot but even I have trouble seeing it.

Bottom: His little face...aww. I can't wait to see his face for real.

In September of 2008 we discovered something wonderful. We are going to be parents for the first time! Suzi is carrying a little baby boy who will be welcomed into the world at the end of May provided there are no problems. Here are the pictures we have so far, we will post more as we get them.

In June of 2007 we adopted our Maggie May.

We fell in love with her the moment we saw her. She's had a little bit of a rough start, having been to the puppy ER twice for stomach problems but we make sure that she stays out of things she should be in and she has been ER free for some time now.

In the beginning...

The Dylan and Susan Hickmott family began on March 16, 2007 when we were married for time and all eternity in the Dallas Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
